A Hi-Tech Masterpiece
At Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza, we pushed the boundaries of architecture, design and engineering to create a hi-tech masterpiece that is in harmony with its surroundings and environment. It is filled with bold new innovations that enhance well-being - for example, the "bubble-film" roof lets in natural light while filtering out harmful UV rays, while 35% of the development is allocated to green spaces. These features enabled us to receive the prestigious "Three-Star Green Building Design Label".
Urban Farming on Rooftop
We cooperated with "Growing Something", a local social enterprise, to set up a small "urban vegetable garden" on the roof of Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza. This not only made good use of a vacant public space, but also increased the overall green space of the Plaza. We planted fresh organic vegetables to give back to our customers as well as the public, which embodies our brand DNA of creating "Happier Places, Happier People".

Shanghai Infinitus Mall Inspires Environmental Reflection Through Art Installation
On May 10th, 2025, Shanghai Infinitus Mall unveiled the rebirth of a very special “blue whale”. This remarkable installation was crafted by an environmental artist using discarded plastic bottles collected during the mall’s Earth Day activities in April.
In early April, visitors encountered the “blue whale” for the first time as it “shared” its story of suffering — entangled in plastic waste and mistakenly ingesting it. Deeply moved by the whale’s plight, many customers joined the “Blue Whale Redemption Campaign”, contributing their plastic bottles to designated recycling bins. A total of 317 empty bottles were collected, sanitized, and creatively transformed into the reborn blue whale installation, which now reconnects with the public in a striking way.
Through artistic expression, we transform abstract environmental concepts into emotional resonance with the public, turning them from “bystanders” into “participants”. This approach inspires proactive actions and enables a deeper understanding of the true essence of environmental protection.

Kumquat Rebirth Eco Workshops at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza
In March 2025, our Hong Kong Property Management Team removed the festive kumquats that adorned the plaza during the Lunar New Year and breathed new life into them. Collaborating with our tenants, we creatively repurposed these kumquats into a variety of reusable items through eco-friendly recycling, a move that was warmly embraced by the community. This innovative initiative not only enhanced the value of holiday decorations but also served as a green connection among our tenants. Everyone joyfully participated, embracing sustainable living and weaving environmental concepts into their daily life.

Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza Brings in an Eco-Friendly Food Waste Machine
In September 2024, Happy Moment @IP brought in an eco-friendly food waste machine. It can transform food waste into organic fertilizer, providing nutrients for the plants in our rooftop organic farm. Our Hong Kong team has been encouraging our tenants to bring their food waste after lunch and join us in turning waste into treasure.
The commendable initiative highlights our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Encouraging tenants to participate fosters a sense of responsibility and engagement. This initiative exemplifies how small, everyday actions can contribute to significant positive changes for our planet.
H Properties Takes Part in Earth Hour 2024
On March 23rd, 2024, the buildings under the management of H Properties proudly took part in Earth Hour 2024 by turning off all non-essential lights from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. A New Rainwater Irrigation System at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza
In May 2023, a new rainwater irrigation system was introduced to our rooftop garden at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza. This system collects and stores rainwater during periods of ample rainfall and uses the accumulated rainwater to nourish the organic vegetables when the weather is clear. This not only saves a great amount of water resources but also takes a significant step towards promoting sustainable development, which accumulates over time just like collecting rainwater. This will enable us to collectively create a better and greener future!
A Happy And Green Christmas at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza
Co-created by a local art group “&dear” and our Hong Kong team, two amazing Installation art pieces for Christmas decoration were exhibited at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza – the Atlantic White-Sided Dolphin and the Adelie Penguin made of recyclable materials, which had been collected from our tenants and customers starting from the Mid-Autumn Festival. With these upcycled installations, we hope to showcase a new possibility of these “trash” and to raise public awareness of environmental protection. We also want to inspire more upcycling ideas.
Waste Awareness Day at 20 Fenchurch Street
To support Bywaters’* “Waste Awareness Day”, our London team specially set up a poster at the reception area in the lobby of 20 Fenchurch Street, showcasing to occupiers how they could be more conscious of recycling.
* Bywaters is one of London’s most well-established waste management companies, with a long-standing commitment to sustainability. Bywaters’ Waste Awareness Day aims at educating more people about the importance of sustainable living.
Umbrella Bags Reduction Program at Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza
In hope of creating a green community, Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza participated in the “Umbrella Bags Reduction Accreditation Program” initiated by Greeners Action. To reduce single-use plastics and lessen their environmental impact, the Plaza began to reduce the distribution of waste plastic umbrella bags by setting up eco-friendly alternative facilities and solutions including carpets, blower fans and umbrella dryers at the shopping arcade and office entrances on rainy days. The Plaza was thus awarded the Gold Level Accreditation by Greeners Action.
H Properties Supports Earth Hour
To support environmental protection, all buildings in the H Properties family participate in Earth Hour every year. On the last Saturday in March, every building turns off all its lights for an hour to save energy and focus on conserving the Earth’s resources.
Highly Effective Chiller Plant
To realise greater energy savings and help protect the environment, we set up a high-efficiency chiller plant in Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza to ensure that the annual Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of the Plaza was 5.0 or above. The annual electricity consumption of the chiller plant will only be about 3.8 million kwh. Compared with ordinary chiller plants, this can save about 40% on electricity (The annual electricity consumption of a chiller plant is usually over 6.2 million kwh at 3.0 EER).
Green Excellence
We installed Oscar Sort in our the Sky Garden to help improve the building overall recycling statistics. Oscar Sort is an AI powered recycling system which helps to put waste in the correct recycling bin. The Oscar screen confirms if an item has been recycled correctly. It also notifies user if something has been recycled incorrectly. Oscar also automates waste audits and informs you of the bins top contaminants. By using Oscar Sort, 20 Fenchurch Street was able to win the prestigious "International CSR Excellence Award 2020" from the Green Organsation in recognition of its environmental protection efforts and, in particular, its waste management - which has achieved a 90% recycling rate.
A Green Space
We set up a “Green Space" in the lobby of Hong Kong Infinitus Plaza. In addition to displaying information about the waste that HK people generated in daily life, the Space also featured automatic recycling machines to encourage customers and visitors to put plastic beverage bottles or aluminum cans into the machines for recycling. Every time someone put in a bottle or can, they could receive a reward of HKD $0.1 on their Octopus card.
Boiler System Upgrade
We upgraded the original boiler system in the Shanghai Infinitus Tower to lower its emissions to 40% below the levels stipulated by the city authorities. As a result, the building received a special commendation from the local government as well as potential tax subsidies in the future for its continued contribution to environmental protection.
